Pandemic Painting IX

This will be the final Pandemic Painting Post, showing some of our painting through early June.  We're back to regualr weekly meetings now, so we'll start posting about games and tournaments again. but enjoy this last look at how we stayed busy!

Eric: "Behold and tremble curs of the false god emperor!
The 3rd Legion in epic scale is here to smite you!
The Emperor’s Children are ready to battle!"

Jeffrey: "GIGN ready to insert"

Jeffrey's first attempt at Japanese camo.

Jeffrey's Japanese for BA. "90% are 3D printed"

Chris: "Armored spear and
armored sword groups done, plus a banner."

Jeffrey's 3d printed, Japanese Type 91 105mm, with gunners made from Warlord plastic figures.

Jeffrey's terrain painting.

Buck's DsHK Hvy MG.

Buck's truck for Daughters of the Motherland in Konflikt '47.

Ren & I team worked this one. He built and painted it then I did details and wash.
Thanks Chuck for 3D printing it for us so long ago. It works as an airfield control tower
or, as my wife recently pointed out, a tower for a POW camp.

Jeffrey's Zebra in 28mm.

Matt is building a dwarf army for Kings of War.
"Not potato picture of my first unit done."

Paul's owlbear and Medusa, painted for D&D.

Jeffrey's Free French: "Did all the French flags on plain helmet by hand."

Matt: "I finally painted the greater earth elemental
I’ve had since the KOW V2 KS."

Pandemic Painting VIII

It's been a while since a blog post, because i had some technical problems with the blog I had to get sorted. But hopefully we are back!  With the Pandemic still going strong, sadly, we are still mostly painting at home.  But club members did some remarkable painting in November, December and January!

Ren's Mammoth: "Picked this guy up at YHP the other day,
gotta say probably the most fun I’ve had painting something in a while."

Jake's Atlantic Wargames halflings.
"Not quite sure what for, but there they are."

Here are some undead I (Paul) painted, mostly for AD&D but they could be used for other games, like Mortal Gods or Kings of War since I did glue magnets under their bases.

Ren's 1916 and onwards Germans
"Für Kaiser, Gott und Vaterland!"

Jeffrey's Roman catapult

Ren: "Some good ole late war British infantry."

Jeffrey: "Love white contrast for winter pzIII"
Chuck: "Finally! A use for the white!"

Jeffrey: "PTO nightmare fuel don’t go into the river!"

Jeffrey's Roman Cataphracts

Jeffrey: "Painted these this long weekend my M 2-4, custom
Cpl Robert Grove. He was a Marine who dual wielded Thompsons
and won a Silver Star in the pacific Campaign.
Plus a Sniper and a Flamethrower team"

Ren: "USMC for Korea, specifically Chosin."

Ren: "a warg because wargs are cool."

Ed: "Sorry for the terrible photos, but finished 2/3rds
of my Roman Deserters and Western Mercenaries
from Gripping Beast."

Wally Finished some more jungle terrain.

Chris' Wendigo, Beast of Nature, for Kings of War.

Chris: "Finally got around to finishing my Western gangs.
Added a new female Bandido leader, a special character Billy,
an outlaw gang with Raven as a female add on
and a couple other female characters for the town."

Chris' druid.

Jeffrey: "MacArthur and the fighting Seabees"

Jake: "A great big treeman to help out the halflings,
directed by an Atlantic wargames Les Grognard.
They put a Les Grognards sprue in my halfling box,
so to make the best of it, I've started my Space 1889 army."

Jake: "an Ogre Mage of sorts"

Ed: "14 done, 10 more to go."

Pandemic Painting VII

We continue not to meet due to the pandemic, sadly, our painting seems to have slowed as well, or at leats folks are not sharing as many pics.

Matt's first 3D printed 28mm vehicle "the little T-26 that could"

Matt "Sixteen tanks. 32 guys. Pure winni....Er not a whole lot of winning was done by the two man tank concept but as far as they go the H39 wasn’t the worst. Getting the decals over the stupid “stick your helmet in and rotate it” vision dome was @?!$."

Ren's "British armor for Africa"

More of Matt's 15mm 3d printed vehicles.

Matt is "Particularly happy with the Char Bs."

Matt says, "A TuG of Gendarmes I finished up today. The Renaissance is one of my favorite eras - so much color (too much color - painting an army is going to be an exercise in getting stands to “good enough” and then moving on to have any hope of completion). Reasonably happy with the time to result ratio on these lot."

Eric "It’s Friday painted up some trolls... for trolling."

Paul rebased an old Achaemenid Persian DBA army for ADLG, and painted a few new
firgures (in blue and purple) to flesh it out some. I still need more figures, infantry and
cavalry, to fully deploy a Persian army.
