Well, it never really left, but for the last weekend in June we had a rare occurrence these days, both games being played at the club were set in World War II. When I and my son first joined the group, back in 2012, it was Flames of War (3rd edition) nearly every Friday night. That was a lot of fun, but most of us really disliked 4th edition. In the last few years we've branched back out considerably, with Bolt Action, Art de la Guerre, Kings of War, Frostgrave, and other games catching our interest.
Chris & Chuck played a Mein Panzer game that they fought to a draw, while Ken, Wayne, Ren, and I played out a Winter War engagement in Bolt Action between the Finns and the Russians.
